Building STEPS, in partnership with Towson University’s Center for STEM Excellence, invites you to a special evening shining the light on first-generation college students and our work with Baltimore’s bright, public high school students. “Why Not Us?” is a moving documentary featuring four first-gen college students and their cross country journey finding inspiration. Sharing their personal experiences will be a panel of Building STEPS students who are the first in their family to earn a degree.
