Whether you’re just starting out, or working on your fifth novel, this course will supply you with a solid foundation with which to approach your work. Together, we will discuss the most important elements of craft (character and plot development, conflict, setting/tone, voice, etc.) and learn how to apply them to our own projects. Each week, students will get a chance to have his or her fiction workshopped, constructively and respectfully, by fellow workshop attendees & professor Kate Angelella. Kate will also provide each student with a written critique. Register at http://soundingsea.com/index.php/writing-classes/fiction-writing/. Free parking for this event in the lot across the street.
