Continuing the annual collaboration between Johns Hopkins University, Creative Alliance, and area schools, the Creative Alliance’s Amalie Rothschild Gallery will feature winning artworks by East Baltimore public school students. Students from kindergarten through twelfth grades create mixed-media works to depict the history of African Americans specific to Baltimore City. Winning entries created during February’s Black History Month earn money for their respective schools in prizes ranging from $100 to $1000 for first place.
