Baltimore-based artist and teacher Kirsten Lapointe is dedicated to improving "communication through visual arts media" in her new solo exhibition "Sit for Tea." Along with her mixed media wall hangings from the ongoing series "Curiousus," Lapointe will install a banquet table centerpiece in the room and encourage further dialogue among visitors with this traditional center stage of daily conversations. The opening reception on Friday, Jan. 15 from 6 - 8 p.m. will feature food and music in traditional banquet fashion.
