The Community College of Baltimore County Gallery at CCBC Catonsville will host an exhibit of selected works by its photography faculty – Gail Burton, Robert Creamer, Steven Dembo, Cassandra Kapsos, Don Kneessi and Hal Rummel – in the Center for the Arts at CCBC Catonsville, 800 S. Rolling Road. Titled “Drawn to Light,” the exhibit will offer an eclectic mix of color and black and white photography. CCBC’s School of Applied and Information Technology is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) for its degree and certificate programs in Art and Design. CCBC prepares students for further study at prestigious four-year colleges as well as immediate career entry. According to Hal Rummel, “CCBC sends more students to The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) than any other institution nationally.” An Opening Reception with the photographers will be held 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 17. Both events are free and open to the public.
