The Donate Life Family Fun Run has been celebrating the lives of organ donors and transplant recipients for 8 years. A 5k run and walk, our goal is to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation and celebrate the generosity of donors and their families. Proceeds from the Donate Life Family Fun Run benefit The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland's community outreach and education efforts, as well as our aftercare program and workshops for donor families. Each year, donor families and friends, transplant recipients, living donors, hospital partners, and supporters of our mission come together as a community and participate in the Donate Life Family Fun Run. In addition to raising funds the Fun Run is a great way to celebrate life, second chances, and the generosity of organ and tissue donors. Join us to run, walk, or simply to celebrate the incredible community of Marylanders who support life and hope through organ and tissue donation. In 2016, we are excited to continue our post-race traditions. Participants are encouraged to stay for an after-party featuring music, food trucks* and a picnic area, along with some of our annual features (sponsor booths, Why We Walk, T-Shirt Row, etc). We are excited for the opportunity to get to know our participants and really have time to talk and meet with each other after the race. We hope you'll join us!
