"Visual Chemistry" reveals narratives derived from the Cheryl Edwards' exploration of culture, place, and investigation of spirit. Broadly expressive, the exhibition is largely comprised of works created since 2013. Edwards works predominantly on canvas and paper, in oil, ink and acrylic. Included in the exhibition are works inspired by a 2014 journey to Cuba (“A Tale of Two Cubas”), and alluring works from a recent printmaking residency at the Experimental Printmaking Institute in Easton, Pennsylvania.
