The Maryland Film Festival presents Between the Screens: An Inside Look at New Ways to Make Movies, an open conversation and fundraiser at the MICA Brown Center. Panelists include filmmakers Lodge Kerrigan, who has directed Homeland and written/directed The Girlfriend Experience, and Marielle Heller; writer and director of Diary of a Teenage Girl and Transparent. Moderated by Baltimore filmmaker and Baker Scholar Matt Porterfield, the panel will discuss how the rise of high-quality original show
