The Baltimore Jazz Alliance and Baltimore City Parks & Recreation sponsor the first-ever Baltimore Jazz Festival, from noon to 8:30 pm in Druid Hill Park, adjacent to the H.P. Rawlings Conservatory, at Gwynns Falls Parkway and Beechwood Drive. This is a free, family-friendly event. Performances cover a range of jazz genres, including gypsy jazz, Latin jazz, contemporary jazz, funk jazz,and straight-ahead jazz. All performers are based in and regularly perform in Baltimore.
