Friend Inside features a triple dose of infectious and radiant electronic pop that dances across the spectrum, from positive to chilling to downright ecstatic. Starting with the slick purple-tinged funk of the title track, through to the swinging and looping cathartic release of Footprints, concluding with the joyous disco house of Silverwood. Friend Inside is another unashamedly sunny clutch of pointed post-pop, equally adept at rinsing the club as it is jamming out of the SUV.
