What's your vision? Summer Art Camp at the American Visionary Art Museum is a thrilling creative experience for young minds. Let AVAM, the national museum for intuitive, self-taught artistry, be your visionary guide this summer. You'll explore the museum's collection of visionary art, and use new and unusual materials to create original artwork of your own. Engage in a special, week-long visiting artist workshop where you'll use your talents to craft a totally original work of music, performance, or art. Full day camp session: 9am–4pm daily, Tuesday–Friday. After care available 4–5:30pm for $25 additional charge. Week 1 // July 14–17 // CREATIVE CONNECTIONS: Art Inspiring Song For Grades 3-5 // Visiting Artist: Singer/Songwriter Lea Morris, KID PAN ALLEY This week students will explore the world of visionary art, and respond by writing, singing and recording original songs.
