Seven-string guitar master Howard Alden is consistently recognized as an artist of astonishing virtuosity and originality. He is known for the sound-track of the Woody Allen movie 'Sweet and Lowdown', and has numerous recordings with jazz legends such as Benny Carter, Flip Phillips, Dizzy Gillespie and George Van Eps. Tonight, Alden is joined by the stunning jazz vocalist, Jeanne Gies, whose album, "Don't Think Twice" Alden produced, and special guest, Buddy Wachter, one of the word's foremost 4-string banjoists, in an extraordinary night of sublime music. "If there are better young jazz guitar players in America than Howard Alden, I have yet to hear them." Wayne Thompson, Jazz Scene
