Join storyteller Diane Macklin as she weaves personal stories and folktales celebrating children, community, and family roots. Games and snacks for the whole family are included. Suggested for ages 6-10. Ms. Macklin has delighted audiences by sharing tales through a “dynamic” style seasoned with rhythm, sounds, and movement, engaging listeners of all ages. She has performed at the National Association of Black Storytellers Festival and Conference and Wolf Trap’s Theatre-in-the-Woods. In conjunction with the current exhibition Ruth Starr Rose: Revelations of African American Life in Maryland and the World.
