Local author and historian Louis Diggs gives a presentation and discussion on African Americans from Baltimore County who were slaves and freed slaves, some who ran away from their owners to join the six USCT (United States Colored Troops) that were formed in Maryland during the Civil War. He also talks about many African Americans from Baltimore County who served in World War I, World War II and the Korean War.
