"A Feast for the Senses: Art and Experience in Medieval Europe" exhibit on display. The art of medieval Europe—luminous stained glass windows, church bells with their mesmerizing sounds, tapestries depicting fragrant gardens, and richly enameled spoons with sensuous surfaces—stirred the senses. The international loan exhibition brings together some 130 works including paintings, tapestries, metalwork, manuscripts and prints from museums in the United States and abroad, alongside masterpieces from the Walters’ collection. Runs Oct 16-Jan 8.
