Who knew the apocalypse could be so much fun? This spring's Marquee Ball is themed on the apocalyptic film series Mad Max. Join your favorite arts survivors for an unforgettable evening of great food, drinks and dancing inside civilization's last apathy-free zone, the Patterson! Expect great dance music, performances in the main gallery, a curated silent art auction, and amazing vacation and restaurant deals. In a world of rust, dust and indifference, join our insurgency to fight for the right to be CREATIVE, no matter what the future brings! POST APOCALYPTIC DANCE PARTY with BOSLEY | 9:30pm Beer, Wine, Light Fare by Relay Foods, & Dance Party with Bosley included in your ticket! ATTIRE Post Apocalyptic Attire Encouraged! Worn leather, dystopian armor, goggles, kilts, chains, uniforms, mohawks & more. AUCTION The Marquee Ball Exhibition in our Main Gallery is curated by Amy Eva Raehse, Lat Naylor, and Jeremy Stern features works generously contributed by more than 80 artists from Baltimore and beyond. Upstairs bid on everything from gift certificates, vacations, wine, tickets, and more great stuff! Bidding closes at 11pm during the Marquee Ball. VALET PARKING AVAILABLE WHAT YOU'RE SUPPORTING As always, the Gala supports the Creative Alliance's free after school and neighborhood outreach programs. Creative Alliance's programs are praised for their high quality by parents, teachers and educating institutions alike. Annually, nearly 2,400 Baltimore City elementary and middle school students learn new concepts and vocabulary, problem solving and social skills through making complex arts projects. They get excited about learning!
